Pupilla sterrii is a species of minute air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk or micromollusk in the family Pupillidae.

This species has scattered distribution and occurs in countries including Eurasia: Alps and Carpathians to Turkey and NW China[2]
In lower altitudes threatened by continuous habitat destructions.[2]
The shell is light horny coloured, weathering grey, finely ribbed.[2] Whorls are strongly convex with deep suture.[2] The aperture is with 2 teeth.[2]
The height of the shell is 2.8-3.5 mm.[2] The width of the shell is 1.6 mm.[2]
Pupilla sterrii occur in grass of very dry and sunny limestone rocks, between stones, on dry meadows on calcareous substrate.[2] In north Italy up to 2800 m.[2]
